How to Flash Oppo R9S Firmware via Recovery

1. 1. Download and extract the firmware.
   2. Move “update.zip” into the SD Card or internal memory (make sure it is outside the folder).
   3. Turn off the device.
   4. Now, turn on and enter into recovery mode, press “volume down + power” at the same time.
   5. Use Volume as navigation and Power to select.
      
   6. If you want to clean up errors, select the “Wipe data and cache” menu, then “Yes.” This will delete all data stored in the internal memory.
      
   7. After the wipe is complete, now select the “Install from SD” menu again.
   8. Select microSD or the place where you moved the “update.zip” firmware file earlier.
   9. After you find it, select the “Power” and “Yes” buttons to flash. Wait until the flashing is complete.
   10. When finished, select “Reboot.”
   11. The first boot will take a long time, so just wait for it to appear in the wizard menu (experience has been up to 30–45).
